What is a simple Will?

A simple Will assumes you intend to leave everything to your partner/spouse/civil partner and/or children and have no other complex wishes. Standard provisions such as executors, funeral wishes, guardians, chattels, cash gifts and charitable gifts are included.

The offer includes a telephone call or video call meeting to itemise your assets and determine whether there are any Inheritance Tax (IHT) issues. If we are instructed on a mirror Will we will need to know about any joint assets (usually your home or joint bank accounts which have a bearing on the way Wills are constructed). Once a draft Will has been prepared we will send this to you for your approval before preparing a final draft. 

Any advice on Will Trusts, bare trusts, inheritance tax or more complex matters is outside the scope of this offer however, we would be happy to provide a quote for drafting a Will with more complex requirements.
